Hello we require a PCR covid test 72 hrs before our return to Canada, going to Trinidad is a major inconvenience. Is there a local test site in Tobago?
Many thanks Jim

Re: Tobago PCR Covid Testing
You can get your PCR in Tobago at the airport or at the hospital. The price varies depending on the place and the day of the week, from $TT 900 to 1300.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Thanks Hugh would you have a link to the airport service? This is great news we thought we would need to go to Trinidad for the test!

Re: Tobago PCR Covid Testing
Good afternoon,
I am new to this forum and appreciate everyone's effort in knowledge sharing. As I have my POS flights booked, I endeavor to update this thread with any new information I glean re: PCR testing.
TOBAGO LABS:
A few days ago, I emailed Tiffany at the email listed above requesting more details. I have yet to receive a reply/update. Stay tuned.
I also note that Caribbean Airlines offers PCR testing however I can not access any lab location information or test fees until I book my flight. They direct me to INK Aviation testing company's page. This company offers an app (Tento Wallet) to present QR code testing results at the airport. Unfortunately, since I am unsure if Tobago has PCR testing, it is difficult to book the return to POS flight as yet. I am thinking of booking two one way tickets... and forcing a fake PCR test date on my Tobago leg, just to know how to proceed (a booking ref number is required to book the test).
LAST OPTION:
Do know that if it comes down to it, we can fly over to POS for a few hours for the test (https://103fm.tt/news/lab-to-offer-covi ... o-airport/) This dated article claims 24hrs turnaround for $160usd. It also says TAB RT-PCR testing will be available "real soon". I sent an email here as well for info on their sister? lab in Tobago.
If anyone has more information, please share...
Note: this information is to the best of my knowledge, and all things covid subject to charge before I hit the submit button.
Bless and may we return to paradise under the new normal sooner than later.

Re: Tobago PCR Covid Testing
Can I get a hard confirmation that someone with a A-Z (first dose) and Pfizer/Moderna (second dose) will be allowed into T&T?
According to the WHO guidelines - I thought that T&T was using that as their official guide, but anyone with experience, or better able to parse https://ttravelpass.gov.tt/ would be appreciated.
WHO Definition of a fully vaccinated individual:
A person is considered to be fully vaccinated 2 weeks after receiving the final recommended vaccine dose(s) of a WHO-approved vaccine or vaccine combination as indicated below.
List of approved COVID-19 vaccines and vaccine combinations for Trinidad and Tobago:
Pfizer-BioNTech - Approved 31st December 2020
AstraZeneca - Approved 15th February 2021
Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) - Approved 12th March 2021
Moderna-NIAID - Approved 30th April 2021
Sinopharm BIBP- Approved 7th May 2021
Sinovac-CoronaVac - Approved 1st June 2021
1st dose AstraZeneca and 2nd dose Pfizer – BioNTech -Approved 15th June 2021
1st dose AstraZeneca and 2nd dose Moderna-NIAID -Approved 30th July 2021
Covaxin BBV152 – Approved 3rd November, 2021

Update re Covid testing in Crown Point:
For those of us looking for more information from home, see this website for Victoria Labs: https://vspgroup.wixsite.com/victorialaboratories.
This is a busy website and takes some detective eyes. Suffice to say that Canadians have to consider that Victoria labs in Tobago may not be open in the evenings (or Sundays) for our supper time departure. I clicked on 'book an appt' and did not get a Tobago option. Tonight I have Whatsapped the lab for testing appt times in Crown Point and will update as soon as more information is provided.
Do note that their website states 24hrs for PCR test results... let's hope this stands true.
Please share any current information (and website) you have found on this topic.
Much appreciated.
