Perched upon the verdant hills of Tobago's windward coast, overlooking the vast and stunning Atlantic ocean, a slice of paradise awaits you. Come to my 2+ bedroom escape, and lose yourself amongst 4 acres of awe inspiring views and refreshing ocean breezes. There's a taste of everything natural here, from the sweet sounding birdsong at the first rays of dawn that lingers beyond the last wisps of twilight, to the remarkable sunrises and luminous star studded nights. Welcome to a great vacation!
The space
This property is ideal for couples (my MOST popular guests) families and/or friends who want to enjoy the local beauty and serenity of Tobago. It lies on the eastern side of the island, a perfect location to begin each day of relaxation or adventure.
The spacious verandahs take full advantage of the magnificent views, and the attractive kidney shaped salt water swimming pool lined with Royal Palms enchants you to unwind in a place like no other. There is a wide variety of non threatening wildlife around the property, which is always great to catch a glimpse of. You can relax in one or all of the nine hammocks on the grounds, find your own spot, have a picnic, fall asleep under a tree, on the beach or beneath the moon and stars, explore, be amazed, taste the good life, breathe a breath of heaven! When my front gate closes...you have entered your own personal retreat!
The rental offers modern appliances in a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, and toaster oven).
The bathroom has a tiled stand-up shower, pedestal sink and an eco friendly toilet.
Both bedrooms offer sliding glass doors; Bedroom #1 has its own patio with views of the back gardens, pool and Atlantic Ocean. Bedroom #2 opens to a walkway bordered by lovely greenery, including a few fruit trees.
The bedrooms have queen sized beds, a standing wardrobe and drawers with a mirror.
Extra sleeping space is available on the futon, located in the common area.

Guest access
The two bedroom apt. has a separate entrance, is private and self contained with a with a spacious patio looking out to the pool and Atlantic Ocean. The gardens around the house, pool area and the bbq (charcoal) patio are all available for you to enjoy. There is also a gas bbq grill you can use located at the front patio, shaded under a large mango tree.
The property features several fruit trees (banana, mango, papaya, noni, cashew, sapodilla, cherry, moringa, sugarcane, among other local fruits) and a herb garden; guests are welcome to help themselves to whatever is in season.
Want to try to catch a fish? I have fishing rods available, however it is recommended you do so from the beach only. At times, the cove is as still as a painted ocean, then... it can be a surfer's paradise! All depends on the tide... We do get beautiful waves at times, with no undertow, so swimming is reasonably safe as the water is also deceptively shallow. However, I strongly suggest low tide only for casual bathers as there is no lifeguard present and swimming is at your own risk.
If you're a night owl, play music, cook hot dogs or roast marshmallows in our campfire area, where stargazing is sublime as they shine the most brilliant here! Shooting stars will wow you, as they streak across the sky, and you will find yourself wanting to keep a tally during the length of your stay. On certain nights, you can also see beautiful fireflies twinkling throughout the trees and property.
As you settle back by the fire and tiki torches, enjoy a premium cigar and a glass of single malt scotch to add to the mood. These are obtainable at a small cost.
Bluetooth speaker is available upon request. Walkie talkies, binoculars, birds of TnT literature, telescope, local cell phone (you just have to buy a prepaid phone card) folding lawn chairs and a beach shelter for when you trek around Tobago are all complimentary as well. We also have a large collection of blu rays and dvds for those rainy or laid back nights.
Want to get closer to nature? Enjoy the panoramic view of the sea and sky as you use our outdoor bamboo shower, an absolute favourite with many of our visitors. There is an additional outdoor shower down in the pool area. As well as another toilet in the pool room for easy access when you are enjoying the pool.
It's all easy going and very casual here. Guests are encouraged to explore all areas of the property and make themselves right at home!
Interaction with guests
As a Host, I want my guests to be as comfortable as possible. I like to greet everyone upon arrival and I am always available to answer questions or make suggestions on dining or local attractions. Whatever you need, don't be shy to ask. I will try my best to accommodate and will be as available or unnoticeable as you desire! I look forward to having you and sharing the warmth and beauty of my little island with you!

My goal is to ensure that guests have an awesome vacation experience in Tobago! So to welcome you, I offer complimentary pick up and drop off to the airport (4-5 people) Just let me know at the time of booking if this is something you need and I will be there to meet you. I can also assist you if you prefer, in finding an affordable rental car for your stay, as well as taxi services. I also offer tours throughout the island, land and sea.
